| In addition to the official L&H films,
Stan and Babe made several guest and/or cameo appearances in other films.
There also exist radio and TV appearances as well as newsreel and home
movie footage which are available to the collector. This section explores
such odds 'n' ends of the Laurel and Hardy World and provides a list of
where to find Laurel and Hardy other than in a Laurel and Hardy film.
For our purposes, we shall make a distinction between "guest" and "cameo" appearances. A cameo consists of a brief walk-on or a single gag appearance lasting no more than a minute or so. A full-fledged Guest Appearance would be an occasion when Laurel and Hardy were afforded screen time to be themselves and perform a routine or two. |
